In case it had escaped your notice, we’re on day three of the National Whale & Dolphin Watch.
We’ve already had sightings of bottlenose dolphins, common dolphins, harbour porpoises, minke whales, killer whales, Risso’s dolphins, and white-beaked dolphins over the course of the weekend.
See here for the list of events in your area over the next seven days. You can also visit this page to find out what it’s all about.
It’s not too late to add you own watch to the list either, please contact outreach@seawatchfoundation.org.uk to add some times and dates, or speak to kathy.james@seawatchfoundation.org.uk if you are new to sea-watching and would like to give it a try!
Here are some of your brilliant photographs from the National Whale & Dolphin Watch so far…
You can also check out our live sightings board here.
Thank you in advance for taking part in this year’s National Whale & Dolphin Watch!
From everyone at Sea Watch Foundation (and our finned-friends of course!).
