Many people associate cetacean spotting with summer, sun and azure seas but the Welsh coast in winter is underrated!
On a land based watch from Point Lynas, Welsh Sea Watcher volunteers observed 4 harbour porpoise for over 2 hours; feeding, surfing and even breaching! Apart from harbour porpoise, several grey seals were also sighted feeding in the area and there was a suspected bottlenose dolphin sighting further offshore!
