Sometimes it is nice to have a cup of tea or a coffee and relax while learning about cetaceans. So that is what we have doing with our Welsh Sea Watchers. Our first meeting was in Aberystwyth at Coffee #1 and it gives a great opportunity for people to ask about what they can see locally, how to get involved and what work they can do for Sea Watch in a more informal atmosphere. We recently followed this up with a coffee meet up in Rhyl ran by Welsh Sea Watcher Laurence Clark at the Harbour Hub Café. On the 11th of June, Chloe Robinson will be holding a coffee meet up in Swansea. Details will be coming soon for that, so keep an eye on our Facebook and twitter. More of these talks are being planned across Wales from our dedicated Welsh Sea Watchers in Powys and Cardiff.
We are always interested in meeting new people and getting them interested in getting involved with Sea Watch, so if you think these talks are for you, email our Welsh Development Officer, Matt, to register your interest or to become a Welsh Sea Watcher.
