Join High Life Highland for their watch at Rubha Reidh, Melvaig near Gairloch

“We continue our celebration of Highland mammals with a walk and seawatch at Rubha Reidh, a point ideal for sea watching, if the conditions are right.

We will have a short walk followed by some surveying of the waters for seals, dolphins, whales, basking sharks and seabirds. During our watch you can eat your picnic lunch if you wish. The ranger will have a spotting scope for you to use and some spare binoculars but please bring your own if you have them.

This event is aimed at adults but interested children aged 8 and over are welcome to join with adults. It costs £9.73 per visitor to operate our Countryside Ranger Service. We make no charge for this event but we rely on your donations to help us protect our Highland wildlife and heritage.”
